If you wear a large size in footwear, you are not alone. Many well know female celebrities are known to wear a larger size in their footwear. Here is one: Cindy Crawford, who wears a size 10 in her footwear. Here are some interesting facts about this great lady. We go to a 15 in women’s length and 17 in men’s length as well. Now if Cindy needs a wider width – we have B to a 14E in our line of shoes, and that is in women’s and men’s as well.
An Illinois native, Cynthia Ann Crawford would later be known as Cindy Crawford. Born on February 20, 1966, to divorced couple John Crawford and Jennifer Crawford, Cindy Crawford had one brother, Jeffery Crawford, who died of Leukemia when Cindy was just 10 years old.
As an adult pretty Cindy stood 5′ 9″ inches tall with the measurements of 34B-24-35 and was once married to Pretty Woman’s sexy Richard Gere (married December 1991). Under high pressure of rumors questioning Crawford’s sexuality and in spite of being named the Sexiest Couple Alive by People Magazine, the couple filed for divorce in 1995. Commenting on the bisexual rumors and their sexual life, Cindy and Richard had stated, “We are heterosexual and monogamous and take our commitment to each other very seriously.”
After relationships with several celebrity figures, Cindy later married former Ford model, restaurant and nightclub business owner Rande Gerber on May 29, 1998. The couple happily welcomed the birth of their first child, son Presley Walker Gerber, and then two years later their daughter Kaia.
Into the Camera
Accidentally discovered while working on a corn farm at the age of 16, Cindy slipped into modeling gaining her breakthrough as a Look Of The Year finalist of the Elite Model Management in Chicago. Departing to New York with this accomplishment and her mole trademark, Cindy did not waste time establishing herself as a model. Within a couple of years, Cindy was able to walk the runways with other supermodels like Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer and Linda Evangelista.
Cindy created memoirs as the first modern supermodel showcased in Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Magazine in 1988. Posing topless Cindy commented, “I don’t mind if someone thinks a picture of me decorates their wall nicely. It’s weird when you think what people might be doing to it. But if just the way I look can make someone feel good, that’s a pretty easy way for me to bring them some pleasure. I just don’t want to hear about graphic details. You know?”
Playboy magazine named Cindy as one of its top ten Sexiest Stars of the Century in 1998. Cindy also gained a few raised eyebrows for posing for a Vanity Fair cover with lesbian singer K.D. Lang.
An astute businesswoman, Cindy commercially markets anything from swimsuit calendars to exercise videos, invested in the profitable Planet Hollywood and founded her own company, Crawdaddy Inc. Crawford signed multi-year contracts with well-known companies such as Revlon, Pepsi, and Kay Jewelers. She’s posed for advertisements for JH Collectibles, Capezio Bags and did lingerie posters for Hennes & Mauritz in Europe. Cindy continued to enlarge her business and career by publishing her book, Cindy Crawford’s Basic Face: A Makeup Workbook.
Possessing an excellent shape and fit body, Cindy, alongside her private trainer Radu, marketed fitness and aerobic videos beginning in 1992. The video debut of highly successful Cindy Crawford/Shape Your Body Workout hit the top of the Billboard’s Health and Fitness charts and has sold more than 2 million copies in the United States alone. Cindy and Radu followed up the video with The Next Challenge.
Understanding that the life span of a model is often short, Cindy made the step to television hosting MTV’s House of Style (1989 -1995). Cindy also worked as a host for the 1992’s Fox TV’s Concert for Life, a show devoted to the memory of Freddie Mercury, and the Hollywood’s Stuntwomen World Tour ’92. Cindy also made appearances in Later (1997), 3rd Rock from the Sun (1998) and then hosted ABC’s Sex with Cindy Crawford (1998). Crawford produced Presley’s First Year, a series of her son’s growth, for Good Morning America. Cindy also has hosted a “behind-the-scenes” look at Melrose Place, Saturday Night Live and the White House. She has interviewed such celebrities as Shaquille O’Neal and Rosie O’Donnell.
Though her film Fair Game (1995) was not well received, Cindy kept working and can be found in the documentaries Unzipped (1995), Catwalk (1995), and Beautopia (1998) as well as having a small part in the films The Secret of My Success (1987) and Sesame Street: Elmopalooza.
Cindy has walked the finest of runways, decorated magazine covers hundreds of times, endorsed merchandise, and has risen to the very top with her enduring beauty. In 1995, Crawford was named the highest paid model in Forbes magazine. Cindy triumphed over Elle Macpherson to become the world’s best-paid model in the 1990’s.
Passionate about being the mother of two children, Cindy, in October 1999, released her own online store, babystyle.com. About motherhood and her new store she said, “When you’re pregnant you don’t feel like dragging around everywhere and trying things on so I found buying off the Internet worked well. There are some good clothes on there. You just have to look.”
People Magazine: Most Beautiful People, 1993.
Being that Cindy Crawford is a 10 in shoe sizes, and we carry 5 lengths past his size, we carry up to a 15 in length for women and for men we carry up to 17 in length in our footwear. I don’t know Cindy’s width but if he needs a wider width, “Women’s Wide Shoes” then we have that for her as well being that we carry up to 14E width, and that is men’s as well.
We have the best athletic, casual, dressy designs, walking styles of men’s and women’s in the Therapeutic/Comfort line of shoes in the country. We have the length and the widths and where proud of our designs and construction in the world of “Women’s Wide Shoes” Any person that needs a proper fitting width needs to know that the shoes need an extension on the sole of the shoe to properly house their foot with no hangover with their feet to the shoe. What is meant that every width, with us (in a good percentage of our shoes), have two widths wider at the outsole of the shoe? So if you need a 6E width, we’ll have an 8E bottom for the base of that width. So again no hangover for your feet and a perfect base for your feet to have all the support and balance that is needed.
A Comfort shoe is usually not a Therapeutic shoe, and a Comfort shoe usually has very little midsection support. The lack of the Mid Section support allows your feet to be moving forward and lateral at the same time. These two movements add a great deal more wear and tear on your feet.
