“Shoes Diabetic” and Diabetic Socks work together in controlling or limiting the progress of Diabetes
Diabetics often have serious problems with their feet. It is a proven, medical fact that one out of every four diabetic patients will have their feet destroyed by this illness. “Shoes Diabetic” and diabetic socks won’t cure the illness but they help stop the progression of traveling into the foot area.
The Diabetic shoe is the protection device and the heat moldable plasazote insert is the off-loading and circulation device for the bottom of your foot. This insert is FREE when you by a pair of shoes from us. So upper problems with your feet are controlled by the shoe and any irritations or problems with the bottom of your feet are controlled by the proper insert.
How does a sock play a role in this system?
Looking much like regular, ordinary socks, diabetic socks are footwear that prevents moisture and build-up of microorganisms that cause infections. These socks have several characteristics, however, that separate them from generic socks. These socks were made in with comfort and protection in mind. Then they are made from a combination of materials such as nylon, acrylic cotton and elastic fibers that can provide the feet ample cushioning while wicking and absorbing the moisture away from the foot. These socks are seamless and are not made of wrinkle-prone materials that can cause and aggravate blisters. These socks can help improve blood circulation since these have non-binding tops but have an interwoven staff that makes them stay up.
So the proper footwear, inserts and sock are the major determining factor in keeping your feet safe from any complications. Remember that those inserts and socks are always FREE from us.
We have the best athletic, casual, dressy designs, walking styles of men’s and women’s in the Therapeutic/Comfort line of shoes in the country. We have the length and the widths and we’re proud of our designs and construction in the world of “Women’s Wide Shoes” Any person who needs a proper fitting width needs to know that the shoes need a extension on the sole of the shoe to properly house their foot with no hang over with their feet to the shoe. What is meant that every width, with us (in a good percentage of our shoes) have two widths wider at the out sole of the shoe. So if you need a 6E width, we’ll have an 8E bottom for the base of that width. So again no hang over for your feet and a perfect base for your feet to have all the support and balance that is needed.
A Comfort shoe is usually not a Therapeutic shoe and a Comfort shoe usually has very little mid-section support. The lack of mid-section support allows your feet to be moving forward and laterally at the same time. These two movements add a great deal more wear and tear on your feet.
