A number of football players don’t want to rival their shoe size? But they well rival their height and weight and we can determine their shoe size with a standard measurement scale. So Emmitt Smith (who is number 1 on the list of all time yardage gainers in the NFL) is 5’9” and his weight is 216 pounds, he should be a size 9 ½ in shoe size. Some interesting information about Emmitt Smith then and now career, but Yes, we carry Emmitt’s shoe size. We go to a 20  in men’s length and 15 in women’s length as well. Now if Emmitt needs a wider width – we have up to 14 E widths in our line of shoes and that is in Men’s and Women’s as well.

Athlete, professional football player, television personality. Born on May 15, 1969, in Pensacola, Florida. Ever since he was a boy, Smith dreamed of playing for the Dallas Cowboys. As a child he had to face many obstacles before he could make that dream a reality. Growing up, his family struggled financially. He worked many different jobs to earn extra money and helped out with his ailing grandmother.
A stellar athlete in high school, Smith went on to play football for University of Florida. As a part of the Florida Gators, he quickly established him as one of its most dynamic players. He rushed more than 100 yards in his first game alone. Smith set and broke his own rushing record while at the university and tied the school record of 14 for rushing touchdowns. Many of his records at the school remain unbroken to this day.
In 1990, Smith left University of Florida in his junior year to play for his dream team, the Dallas Cowboys. In his twelve seasons with the Cowboys, he excelled as a running back and became a crucial part of the Cowboys’ offense. Smith helped the team to three Super Bowl Championship victories in 1993, 1994, and 1996. He was even singled out for his performance on the field in Super Bowl XXVIII, winning the MVP honors in 1994. Smith also played in several Pro Bowl games as well.

Smith became the first player to rush for more than 1,000 yards in 11 seasons straight. In 2002, he broke Walter Payton’s rushing record to become the leading rusher in NFL history. Despite his successes, Smith ended up playing the last two seasons of his career—2003 and 2004—with the Arizona Cardinals. Over 14 seasons, he rushed more than 18,000 yards and scored 164 rushing touchdowns.

In 2006, Smith returned the spotlight as a contestant on the hit television show, Dancing with the Stars. He won the competition, beating out actor Mario Lopez in the final round. Smith showed the world that he knew how to move on and off the field.
Smith lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife Pat and their four children.

Being that Emmitt Smith is a 9 ½ (estimate size) in shoe sizes and we carry 7 ½ lengths pass his size, we carry up to a 17 in length for men and for women we carry up to 15 in length. I don’t know Emmitt’s width but if he needs a wider width, “Extra Wide Shoes’ or “Wide Wide Shoes” then we have that for him as well being that we carry up to 14E width and that is women’s as well.

We have the best athletic, casual, and fashionable men’s and women’s walking styles in the Orthopedic/Therapeutic/Comfort line of shoes in the country. We have the lengths and the hard-to-find widths. And we’re proud of our designs and construction in the world of “Women’s Wide Shoes.” Anyone who requires an adequately fitted width must understand that the shoes must have an extension on the sole to properly contain their foot without the foot hanging over the shoe. What that means is that every width (in a higher percentage of our shoes) will be two times wider at the outsole of the shoe. For example, if you require a 6 E width, we’ll have an 8 E bottom for the base of that width. Therefore, no overhang of your feet and a perfect base to provide all the necessary support and balance.

A comfort shoe is not always an Orthopedic/Therapeutic shoe. And also, keep in mind that a comfort shoe often has very little midsection support. The lack of midsection support allows the feet to move forward and laterally at the same time. These combined movements will increase stress to your feet.
