Let me give you an occurrence that happy yesterday.

We revived an order for the same style in two colors and after checking inventory, in our five warehouses- as we always do, we realized that this style is discontinued and replaced by two new styles that are very similar in appearance and has the same fit as the older style.  So we were arranging an email and was telling, the customer, the story and why we had not dropped the old style from our website ( because there is still 40 percent of inventory left- we discontinue when we reach 20 percent). Then finishing the email up by telling her about the two new styles and the colors ( both colors, of her choice, were available in the two new ones) and her size and width was available as well.

We received a phone call, and I happen to answer the phone, and she asks for customer services. I told her that I could help answer her questions. She stated that she just placed an order and had not received any acknowledgment from us. The order placed 8 minutes ago, and I told her that we where composing an email of the situation of the style that she had chosen and then I went on to explain to her what the email would be stating. Once she heard that the style was in the process of discounting and our inventory was low, and I didn’t have her size – her voice went up a few octaves and stated: “just issue me a credit.” Once I heard her voice and her disappointment I said that is fine and discounted the conversation very politely. We issued her a credit within 3 minutes after the discussion was over.

I think my primary disappointment was that she did not allow us to explain to her about the two great options we had to offer her, and I know she never saw the two, because of them being in a different women’s classification – compare to the old style.

We are here to help and make sure your experience with us is very pleased and fruitful, but it takes two to communicate, and this was a one-sided conversation. Wish I had sent the customer the email to let her see what we had to offer her but her voice had too much disappointment


Why I’m telling you this story is because not all our transactions go smoothly, but we’ll put 125 percent( on our end) to make it happen. Our repeat business has been unbelievable – so we must be doing something right. Oh yes, I know the product is out of this world!
